How do you highlight your hair with home materials?

I have dark brown hair, with some blonde from recent highlighting and i want more. I dont want to go out and buy pro highlighting stuff, so is there any 'at home' materials that you can highlight your hair with? [lemon juice, vinegar, etc.]?How do you highlight your hair with home materials?
Hey,

I'm kati %26amp; i do my friends hair for fun. The Lemon juice works on some but not others. With your dark brown hair it might not turn each strip the same color. If you have $20 just go to your grocery store cosmetic aisle. I'm guessing your hair is Chocolate so don't go to drastic. Try a dark blond or carmel. Being a guy your hair will most likely be short. Caps w/ hooks come in some packs %26amp; it would certainly be a help t oyou. Good luck!

lemon juice could lighten your hair but it can

also damage it if you stay out in the sun with it too long.
Lemon juice but it will seriously dry out your hair and it will takes a long time in the sun so make sure you have on sun screen to protect your hair. But since your hair is dark brown the lemon juice might make it a bit orangish.
you go stick your head in a bucket of horse piss!

I wouldn't try to do it at home it might turn out really bad and if you have dark brown hair you should keep it dark brown hair looks really good on guys so keep it.
