How to naturally highlight my hair?

I've read many questions like this one i've asked. I don't want to go to the store. My parents wont let me go to the salon or buy it from the store.


So I know how to do it with peroxide I've tried it but it doesn't work for my dark brown hair.

Lemon juice and sunlight. The last time I lightened my hair, I bought ';Sun-in.'; It's pretty cheap (about $3) and all you have to do is spray it in and then either go outside, or use your blowdryer.
