Anyone ever highlight long hair using a cap if so how was it?

I have long hair and I am thinking of highlighting using a cap. I normally go to a salon but every time I go they make it to light.Anyone ever highlight long hair using a cap if so how was it?
Yeah its the same concept of short hair. Just comb your hair back but the cap, have a friend pull it but the thickness is how you get the look you want. There is thin strands for natural or bold thick. And if you don't want it light don't leave it on long. The longer you leave it on the lighter it gets so check it from time to time.Anyone ever highlight long hair using a cap if so how was it?
DON'T USE A CAP.


i had long dark brown hair, i wanted blonde highlights. i had the cap because it was cheaper.


the cap is heavy, it makes yout cry, your nose run, and gives you a headache, it puts alot of pressure on your head.


then the hook, to hook your hair out is VERY painful. it pulls your hair very hard, and really, really hurts.


please, use foil. so much nicer.
