If so, does it have to be the 50/50 solution?
And does it fade back to the original color or does it have different colored roots like with regular hair dye?
For example, if when someone with brunette hair dyes it blonde it will eventualy have dark roots, but if they were to just get some sun it would eventualy fade back to being dark again if they stayed out of the sun.Is it true that you can use hydrogen peroxide to highlight your hair?
Sure! Most (if not all) of the hair lightening and coloring products are made with hydrogen peroxide. That's why they're light blue - because of the color of peroxide. A 50/50 sollution would be to harsh, please don't even try it! Anyway, it's unlikely that you can actually FIND pure H2O2. Most of the stuff that's on the market are 3 to 12% H2O2, and hair dyes have 6%. Higher concentrations of peroxide are used for paper bleaching and it's also used as a propellant! It's highly explosive, corrosive, and inhaling vapors can be deadly. H2O2 used in medicine is a 2.5-3% concentration. So 50/50 solution would be right... 50/50 of the 3% that is. It has the same effect that hair bleaching products on the market have. Without the added perfume, and nourishing stuffIs it true that you can use hydrogen peroxide to highlight your hair?
ya i found this on a web site
And of course, if you like a natural look to your hair, spray the
50/50 solution on your wet hair after a shower and comb it through. You
will not have the peroxide burnt blonde hair like the hair dye packages, but more natural highlights if your hair is a light brown, faddish, or dirty blonde.
It also lightens gradually so it's not a drastic change-Truth!
One of the classic uses of hydrogen peroxide is to bleach hair. The concentrations are between 3% and 6%. This suggestion to dilute with water probably applies to those solutions.
yes its true.. but you have to have the bleach and colour with it.. thats why its best to get it from a drug store or hair place! highlights do fade.. because the colour with the bleach fades leaving it less bright.. but they will not fade properly or completely just dull down.
no it makes it bleached forever
idk. i wouldnt try it.
