I wanted to dye my hair with koolaid over break but I have a few questions:
1. How long does it take to get out (i go to a private school that doesnt allow hair dye....and i need it to come out in about 2 weeks)
2. How do you do it?
3. Is there an alternative (a colorful one)
Merry Christmas! Thanks! How do you highlight your hair with Koolaid?
it depends on how often you wash your hair but i'll say in about 6 washes
and what you do is mix the koolaid wth your shampoo and then you wash your hair with it but leve it in for a few minutes then put some in your conditioner
an alternative could be colred hair sray or washable dye in a can which comes out whenever you wash your hair and its convient and can be bought at almost any store like walmart or the beauty supply storeHow do you highlight your hair with Koolaid?
My cousin used to dye her hair with red Kool-aid. Her hair is a dark brown. She would buy the packet and simply rinse her hair with the kool-aid mixed with water. No sugar added! lol It always looked cute, just as good as when she did it with dye. But when she used too much kool-aid, the color was very neon.
So if you do try it, make sure you treat your hair with conditioners or treatments first to strengthen it, (if needed) and as far as the kool-aid...don't over do it. It will rinse out within the first 3-4 washes. So depending on how many time you wash your hair before school starts the color shouldn't be as noticeable. Hope that helps. :)
one of my friends has naturally blond hair and she just mixes the color of koolaid of choice and soaks her hair in it for a few minutes. It fades gradually and comes completely out in about 4-6 days.
make coolaid. then dip ur hair in it.
its gross and trashy though.
My little brother and my cousins did this for Halloween one year.... You basically dampen your hair and then put the Koolaid powder in (make sure to put just a little on at a time so you cover everywhere). Try not to use TOO much water or else you dilute the Koolaid too much. I THINK that it came out in basically one wash (maybe two). I DO remember that it DID NOT work on hair that was dark AT ALL. Your hair has to be pretty light. You can buy fun alternative temporary colors at Target etc that are ';Hot'; colors like blue, purple, green, etc. that come in a tube that you squeeze and brush in. They also wash out and ALSO do not show up well on darker hair. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
are you crazy!!!!???? use regular dye!!!
I guess this is an alternative...at Sally's Beauty store they have hair dye mascerra....but it washes out. My friend dyed her hair with koolaid...she put it on with water (I think) and left it on all day. It looks cool, but I think it takes more than 2 weeks to get out.
Oh yea....and at wal*mart they have this certain kind of hair coloring that works for two weeks only it's in a orange package!
I don't remember who makes it....I've gotten it...it's cool! Good luck, and Merry Christmas ^_^
