What kit should i use to highlight my hair with blond highlights ?

my hair now is brown.


but i want blonde highlights.


im not gonna go out and spend $70.00 on highlights


so im just gonna do it from home.


but i dont know which brand kit i should use.


i was thinking about the garnier fructise highlighting kit.


but i dont know.
