How do you highlight your hair with lemon juice?

I have brown/dark brown hair. Does that affect anything? If you know how to highlight your hair with lemon juice, how?How do you highlight your hair with lemon juice?
You can use either lemon juice or vinegar, although the lemon is a little more pleasant-smelling! You can either dilute it with a little water or just use it straight, your choice. You put it on select pieces of hair (you can use a paintbrush for this) and then sit out in the sun for about 30 minutes. When you come back inside, rinse it out and you should have highlights! How do you highlight your hair with lemon juice?
Put maybe about 1/4 cup lemon juice into a spray bottle and fill with water, then sit it in the sun. Make sure your hair is wet.
i have brown hair and i did it it gave me strieks of blond and they look natrual just squesse it on your head then sit in the sun for about an hour than wash it of with just water wait till your hair dries before you wash it with shampoo and conditionor
You squeeze lemon juice onto your hair and let it dry out under the sun. Take a walk or something after you apply it.

Having dark hair myself, I understand that it won't work as well on us as more fair-haired people. It may lighten your dark brown hair a few shades though.
This works best in the summer, since the sun is the hottest. Put lemon juice on your hair, and sit in the sun.. it will lighten over time. Obviously its not going to be a quick resulting process.. but it will work if you do it alot :)

Try maybe putting lemon juice with a bit of water in a spray bottle, and just keep it with you when youre lounging around outside? :)
It'll probably be subtle at best, if anything at all. You may want to use foils too, on the strands that you're highlighting. Also, since lemon juice is EXTREMELY drying to your hair, make sure you use conditioner, deep conditioner, and leave-in-conditioner RELIGIOUSLY. You can actually get similar results from Sun-In, but it may be more drying since it's got peroxide in it.
gosh i never ever heard that one but if u do find out i sure would like to know.
i always do it.

put lemon juice in a spray bottle,

and spray it on your wet hair.

then go outside in the sun until your hair is dry.

you may need to do it a couple of times before you see any effects though.
