What's the best way to highlight hair at home?

I'm not sure which brand to use and whether to use the cap %26amp; hook system or brush-on......any suggestions for which would be easier and give better results, or any particular brand that's good?What's the best way to highlight hair at home?
use the cap it's much easier to use, I use it myself. I don't like brush on because you can make some areas thicker with color then others and you can get color where you don't want it. With a cap you control where you have the color and how much you're wanting to color.What's the best way to highlight hair at home?
DON'T... i did it a few years back blond.. well my mom did.. and it looked HORRIBLE. I had to go to school like that.. not good responses. i couldnt get home fast enough to dye it back light brown... i stil shutter at the memory... for best results put the money in for professional. I'm telling you its so worth it. Its so easy to mess up. And you most likely will find somthing that u don't like about it if you o it yourself.
the cap and hook will be easier for home use. it will also ensure that the highlights are even and in the correct place. make sure u have shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair so it will stay moisturized.
