How To Naturally Highlight Hair at Home?

I have a dirty dishwater blonde hair color and I want to go lighter. Naturally. I don't have money to spend on some fancy hair stylist. I know you can use lemon juice, peroxide, and white vinegar, but I'm not sure how much, which combination or what not would be best. My hair is already dry because of the high altitude I live at. After I highlight I plan on using olive oil as a conditioner. Any suggestions on how to make my hair look nice without completely ruining it?How To Naturally Highlight Hair at Home?
No don't use in home highlights most of the time they turn out awful. I did it and I had one big blonde spot on my head. I say cut a lemon in half and squirt both sides on your hair and then go lay out in the sun. It gets blonder. My aunt does that and it is such a pretty color blonde. How To Naturally Highlight Hair at Home?
I'm a dirty blonde myself

and i have used sun-in and it did nothing! Well im lieing, it made my hair look brittle.

What works for me is squeezing lemon juice out of 2-3 lemons, then put the lemon juice into a spray bottle, then on a nice sunny day, take the spray bottle outside and spray it all over your hair.

After laying in the sun for a few hours, you are good to go!

Hope it works for you! =]
STOP don't do any of those things..........

Go to the drug store, any one or walmart, zellers etc, where they sell hair dye.

Buy a streaking kit, Loreal has a good highlight kit, buy one for natural blond hair, and streak it. It will lighten and not show growth from the roots. This kit costs around 10.00 depending where you live.

Follow the instructions, which are really easy to do.

The results would be salon like without the price.

The product is Loreal Excellence Cremelights .
OK my hair is dark dirty blonde in the winter and light blonde in the summer and i dont do anything. Just spray some flat iron spray on so it keeps the sun from burning your hair than when ur at the beach or pool just let the sun hit ur hair! Aventually ur hair will become ligter. Thanks bye
squeeze about 3 lemons and mix with a third of a cup of water and put it in a plastic spray bottle. mist in ur hair and then go out in the sun. make sure u add it to dry hair, not wet
i personally use lemon juice. i used it today and sat in the sun for about 10 minutes then took a shower and my sister said it looked a lot lighter.
sun-in you can get it at drugstores. i wouldent do peroxide unless i wanted bleach blonde hair though.
You could deep condition over-night with cinnamon
You could spray sun-in in sections throughout ur hair. That way the sun will lighten it without damage.
on a sunny day layout in your yard with either lemon juice in your hair or Sun in, and that runs around $3or $4
